OVERVIEW

District Small Scale Industries Association (DSSIA) is the premier apex association which was established way back in the year 1956 and since then has been instrumental in the upliftment of SSI Units in the State of Odisha. We were members in National Board for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and are also invited at Pre-Budget Meetings at the Central level as well as State Level. We are also Directors in the Board of IDCO and OSIC. DSSIA is also a Governing Body Member in CTTC. DSSIA is also a Governing Council Member of OQTC. We are a member in the MSE Facilitation Council formed under the Delayed Payment Act on rotation basis. DSSIA is the lone Apex Association representing the cause of SSI units at EPM cost committee judiciously and are also members of the EPM Task Force Committee. Besides the above DSSIA is Representing at different organizations of State as well as Central Government, CPSUs, PSUs etc. related to industrial sector.

DSSIA helps and advises the State Government in formulating necessary legislation in the State to help, promote Micro & Small Industries in the State of Odisha and to take legislative and other measures affecting Micro & Small Industries. OSSIA also works intensively for the development and expansion of existing MSEs and starting of new MSEs in the State.
